Contrast

Contrast:

When you increase the contrast of an image, you're enhancing the difference between its light and dark areas, making shadows darker and highlights lighter. This adjustment adds definition to flat images and can soften those that appear too harsh.

Contrast Legacy:

Contrast Legacy enhances tonal separation, particularly in midtones. Increasing this setting shifts midtones (gray areas) towards either black or white, intensifying the image's overall contrast. Conversely, decreasing Contrast Legacy makes blacks and whites appear more neutral, reducing the image's overall contrast.
